Gillian graduated from Manchester University with a degree in Law in 1994 and qualified from Chester College of Law in 1995. She trained with a niche intellectual property practice in Manchester and then worked in the commercial litigation department for Halliwell Landau (now Halliwells) in Manchester before coming home to Liverpool to work for DLA.
Gillian left DLA to set up the legal department for Halewood International Limited, an international drinks company based in Liverpool and then branched out by setting up her own practice which she ran until 2009.
Gillian will be teaching level 6 Contract Law from September 2010.
