Lorraine completed her legal studies in Liverpool completing her LL.B (Hons) study in 2001 and graduating from the University of Liverpool with an LL.M in 2005, followed by the completion of her LPC at the College of Law in Chester, which she attained with distinction.
Lorraine has always combined study with working in law and therefore understands the pressures placed on ILEX students. Lorraine started her legal career working in house in the legal department of a large food retailer and moved from this position to working in the Litigation Department of Berrymans Lace Mawer.
Lorraine entered teaching in 2004 and qualified as a teacher in further and higher education in 2007. She returned to legal practice in early 2008 and is now a Litigation Fee Earner at Camps Solicitors in Birkenhead. Lorraine is pleased to be combining this position with the delivery of the level 3 Tort, Civil Litigation and Client Care Skills modules during the 09-10 academic year. This will continue into the 2010 - 2011 academic year.
