Paul studied in both Cambridgeshire and Liverpool in his early years, leaving college with a Diploma in Business. He went on to study for his LLB and later gained his LLM before going on to achieve his professional qualification at the School of Law in Chester.
Paul worked as a solicitor in London and Liverpool for some years and began lecturing in 1998.
He now concentrates his efforts on teaching and business enterprise.
Paul has taught Criminal Law and Litigation at level 3 this year.
