Paula attended Sheffield University, graduating with a First in History before moving to Manchester Metropolitan University to complete the conversion course and Law Society Finals in 1989.
After qualifying as a solicitor with Mace & Jones in Liverpool, she spent 10 years in-house with Alfred McAlpine, Royal & Sun Alliance and Unisys Insurance Services Ltd. Most recently, Paula was Head of Employment for niche Wirral firm, DGB Solicitors.Paula has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law, contract law and negligence.
She has written articles on employment related issues. Paula returned to academic life in 2007, gaining a distinction in her Masters degree in the Law of Emploment Relations from Leicester University. She is currently working towards her Diploma in teaching.
This year we have been delighted that Paula has delivered level 6 Contract Law, Tort Law and Employment Law for us. She will continue with her teaching of Employment Law and Level 3 Contract law next year together with working with the directors on future exciting projects.
