Ray is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and prior to the commencement of his career in legal practice in 1994 had a successful career in the Royal Air Force.
Ray's career started in litigation involving mortgage law, insolvency proceedings and defended debt recovery. His real expertise however is in the field of residential conveyancing dealing with all types of freehold and leasehold property, but he also advises clients on other issues relating to land, and prepares declarations of trust and undertakes commercial conveyancing as well.
In practice he has undertaken the management of his own department, developed case management systems and supervised trainee solicitors.
With a strong academic background covering all core subjects in law and keenly focusing on the qualities and attributes of that Legal Executives can offer the legal and business communities, Ray is committed to supporting and encouraging students to achieve their aim of building a successful and rewarding career.
Ray has established as a successful track record as a tutor with the Law Academy in Conveyancing and Land Law. This year he has been teaching our Level 6 Land Law. Due to the success and demand for this subject, we are offering this course again this academic year.
