We’re ready for September

2020 continues to be a challenging time for everyone. Looking back however, we are so proud of all our students and tutors and how quickly they adapted to online teaching and studying.

We extended our academic term right through to 23rd July to give our students a lot of extra support working towards the September exams. Everyone has learned a lot about online teaching and learning and have coped well.

Trying to make a decision for September has not been easy. We have had to weigh up the safety of all our tutors and students, travel to and from The Law Academy, social distancing in the training rooms and the ongoing threat of local restrictions.

With all this in mind, and after doing an extensive consultation with everyone involved, we are able to provide a solution and release our details for September.

How it will work

All our classes will be online during the Autumn term and our offices and training rooms will remain closed during this period. Our academic term will begin on Monday 14th September and we will be offering the classes as detailed in our timetable page on our website.

Our tutors will pre-record part of the sessions and this will be released to the group prior to the online live session each week. The benefit of this being students can listen to the important content at a time to suit them and can access this as often as they wish. This will then be coupled with an online live session for all students to join their tutor each week. This is to replicate the class room session and for tutors to expand on subjects, students to discuss and ask questions on the topic being studied that week.

We feel this is an exciting and innovative approach and enables all students to access The Law Academy safely. This is our priority first and foremost.

We are now holding our usual information appointments online. So far, these are working very well and it is good to see so many new students keen to enrol.
