What do you enjoy about teaching for us?
Teaching gives me the opportunity to help people realise their potential. I enjoy making difficult topics accessible, encouraging discussion and creating an environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves. Seeing someone develop new skills, gain confidence and progress in their career is what I find most rewarding.
What do you enjoy doing away from work?
Outside of work, people are a big part of who I am. I love volunteering and supporting The Girls’ Network, which is something I find both important and rewarding. I am also a lifelong learner and am currently completing my CIPD Level 7 qualification. I really enjoy applying what I learn in practice and continuing to develop my knowledge.
My most important and rewarding role is being a parent to my two gorgeous children, which keeps me very busy. When I do get spare time, I love to read, I am a member of two book clubs, and I also enjoy painting.
Any message for your new students in September?
If you are returning to study after time away or are feeling apprehensive about CPQ, please don’t worry!
The qualification is a great way to consolidate learning and experience you already have and I will make the sessions as accessible and engaging as possible.
